Day 1: Kigali – Akagera National Park – Lake Ihema Boat Cruise
After breakfast, you will be picked up from your hotel in Kigali and begin the scenic drive to Akagera National Park. Upon arrival, enjoy a relaxing boat cruise on Lake Ihema, one of the park’s most rewarding wildlife-viewing experiences. As you cruise along the lake, watch for hippos, crocodiles, elephants, buffaloes, and an impressive variety of water birds along the shoreline.After the boat excursion, check in to your lodge, relax, and enjoy dinner before your overnight stay.
